Bird acting visual OU, no stain uptake, good PLRS, mild chorioretinal scarring OU. Bird struggled a little bit with meds and tubing, kept trying to pit up meds and shaking head. Legs: NSF Feet: NSF Body: NSF Ectoparasites: Flat flies Radiographic findings: Fractures of Metacarpus major and minor bones. Initial treatment: 0.17cc torb; 0.08cc iron; 0.02cc Vitamin B; 0.32cc Liver support; 0.17cc Baytril A: Patient has strike through puncture wound over R metacarpals, suspect gunshot. Inability to fly has caused emaciation. Concerned for open wound over fracture site, did not see major bone exposure when cleaning wounds. Prognosis is poor based on severity of emaciation and potential infection getting into the bones at fracture site. Vitals have stabilized on heat and oxygen support.
